FAQs about Holidays in Isle of Wight

How much is a camping pitch on the Isle of Wight?

All 4 of our Isle of Wight holiday parks have touring and camping pitches available. Prices per night start from around £7 and vary depending on what type of pitch you choose and the time of year you visit.

Our Standard Pitches at Nodes Point Holiday Park whilst basic, offer great value for money. If you would prefer to have more home comforts such as electric hook-up points or water, our Electric and Serviced Pitches are suitable for both tents and touring caravans but you can expect to pay a little more. Our on park facilities and entertainment passes are included in the price of your pitch.

What are the best attractions on the Isle of Wight?

The Isle of Wight is home to a wide variety of brilliant attractions with something for everyone to enjoy. Some of our favourite days out on the Isle of Wight include:

  • The Needles
  • Blackgang Chine
  • The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary
  • Osborne House
  • Dinosaur Isle
  • The Isle of Wight Steam Railway

For more information, head to our local attractions page and start planning your days out.

Which holiday parks on the Isle of Wight have WiFi?

We offer free WiFi within selected venues at all 4 of our Isle of Wight holiday parks, making it easy to stay in touch with family and friends during your stay.

Please take into consideration that due to some of our parks' rural locations, you may experience poor signal strength on your mobile phone. If you have any concerns, we would recommend getting in touch with your service provider prior to your holiday.

Which holiday parks on the Isle of Wight are suitable for the disabled?

We provide wheelchair friendly accommodation and facilities at all of our holiday parks on the Isle of Wight. Visit our accessible holidays page for more information, or head to your park's accommodation page and select the 'Wheelchair Friendly' filter.

If you or a member of your group has mobility issues, it is worth considering the terrain of your chosen holiday park. Our flattest park on the Isle of Wight is Landguard and we would recommend this park in particular for anyone with a physical disability. Thorness Bay is located on a hillside, however the main complex of the site is wheelchair friendly. Nodes Point is a relatively flat park, however there is a slope heading towards the beach which may prove difficult to navigate for wheelchair users. Lower Hyde is mostly suitable for disabled guests but there are a few hilly areas. If you have any specific questions, please give our holiday advisors a call on 0330 123 4850.

What are the best times of year to visit the Isle of Wight?

To avoid the hustle and bustle of peak season crowds, spring and autumn are both great times of the year to visit the Isle of Wight. Whilst some attractions may have limited visiting times during winter, many of these reopen around March and stay open until October or even November. Compared to other regions, the Isle of Wight still sees fairly warm temperatures in September and October with average highs of 19 and 16 degrees respectively.

As you would expect, summer is also a fantastic time to visit the Isle of Wight if you're hoping for some warmer weather to take advantage of the region's great beaches. Head to our local attractions page to find out more and start planning your holiday.
