How to Remove Picture Protection?

Hullo, all. I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-90. I was trying to figure out how to change the file size, and I accidently made a picture be protected. I would like to remove that, and delete the photo, but can't figure out how to do so. I was using the camera's internal memory, not a memory stick. Does anyone know how I can remove the protection on that photograph? Thank you.

If it is internal memory you need assist with your all-time strategy is to re-create the whole internal memory to an external memory stick and then reformat the internal memory.

Re: How to Remove Motion-picture show Protection?

Of grade the problem can be fixed.

The same push button click that fabricated the pic protected will unlock the protection.

In review manner go to the bill of fare and printing the left or right arrows until yous get to the protect setting. You will encounter the central icon displayed for the motion-picture show that is protected. When you encounter the question "Protect Exit" move the highlight upward with the Upwardly arrow and press the middle button.

The key symbol un the picture will disappear and y'all will exist able to delete the picture.

With memory sticks so inexpensive y'all should really offset using them.

It is a totally different feel.

Good luck.

Once the in that location press the center push to get this dialog screen with the

At this point the eye button serves like a toggle switch -

pressing information technology once will protect the picture (a cardinal symbol will appear at the top right corner area). Pressing it again will remove the protection (and the key symbol will dusappear). The left/right buttons will navigate you lot to other pictures.
To get out press the carte button.

I promise this helps.
